Report Moving Script

Does anyone have a script that they would like to share that would move some directory and it's tree from one server to another?

ScottI don't have one but note that reports are not in any directories. They are
stored in the database. They only exist in files on the development
machines. When you deploy they are stored in the database.

I'm just wondering if there is a script that I can use with the RS script engine that will move reports (i.e. from dev to prod)

>|||Yes you can script it and RS ships with an example. I'm at home so I can't
tell you where it is. Note that you can setup multiple targes for deploying
from Visual Studio. Also, you can deploy a single report, multiple reports
or all reports. The first time you deploy the data sources get deployed and
then you need to go to Report Manager and reconfigure them to go against
your production data but thereafter the default is to not overwrite the data
sources so you just get a warning that it couldn't deploy the data sources.
You might want to play around some with the capabilities in the designer for
deployment before deciding you need to script it.

Report moving between fields

I'm having a strange issue.
When moving between parameter fields when viewing a report, it refreshes the
report every time I move from field to field. Whether I'm moving with the
tab button or just clicking in the next field.
The refresh option is off.
Anyone have any ideas?Here's an update...
This only occurs when using a default field. I'm using the global constant
"user id". It is the last parameter in the stored procedure and the last
parameter entry field in my report.
If I move this field to the first parameter entry field, it works just fine.
When it's in any other position, it tries to run the report each time I move
to a new field.
This is extremely frustrating.
