Hope someone can give a hint how to resolve this issue. RS manager indicates
the report was sent via e-mail, but the mail is not received by the
recipients.
The wierd thing is that manually putting a file in the SMTP Pickup folder
like the one below. it works fine. File is sent and received just fine.
From: sender@.email
To: recipient@.email
Subject: Testing SMTP
This is a manual SMTP test
If I drop a report file created by Reporting Services (no attachment just
send the link). The file is pick it up by SMTP, but no mail is received.
SMTP & RS logs indicates the mail was sent sucessfully.
What's going on?
ThanksI'm having the same problem on a Windows Server 2003 with RS and SP1
installed. Logs indicate the message was sent successfully but nothing ever
arrives. Advice would be greatly appreciated.
