Report Pack for IIS
I am wondering if I can run the "Microsoft SQL Server Report Pack for
Internet Information Services (IIS)" on a SQL 2005 64 bit.
2nd question, where can I find the script as well as some DTS or jobs to
populate the IISlog DB.
ThanksHello,
Based on my research, Microsoft SQL Server Report Pack for Internet
Information Services (IIS) only support SQL Server 2000.
To confirm that, I tried to tested on my side and I could not install it on
the SQL 2005 server.
As for the second question, I am not sure what you want to do with the
IISLog DB. Would you please try to make it more clear?
Please NOTE: Microsoft SQL Server Report Pack for Internet Information
Services (IIS) is licensed "as-is" It is not supported, and you bear the
risk of using it. Microsoft gives no express warranties, guarantees or
conditions.

Report Manager on 64 bit machine does not recognize 32 bit data sources
I'm a report developer who has created some reportsd against sybase data on another server. I am developing on a 64 bit Server 2003 box using SQL 2005 Reporting services. I hace created 32 bit ODBC data dsns using the supplied utitlity (odbcad32.exe). As I am creating the reports I can pull data using the data sources without a problem, however when I deploy my datasource and report to Report manager and run I get the following:
This has been driving me crazy for 2 days now. Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks
Hi Rick!
I use a 64-bit Windows Server 2003 Enterprise server also and connect to about seven different database types, although Sybase is not one of them. Have you installed SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 2?
|||HI Chuck,
Thanks for the response. I have limited experience with server admin stuff. I was brought for my reporting experience more then anything else. As far as I can tell our build number is 2005.090.3042.00 which equates to the original version of SP2 on the build list.

report manager datasources
get it fine in the report designer, but when deployed to the Report Manager
it wont work....Any ideas or workarounds? Is the datasource shared? If so - are the details correct?
If the data source is custom, does the user running the report have
permission?

Hi,where are you experiencing the long Report. If you mean within the report HTML view, you might have a look on the PDF rendered format. That differs to the HTMl ouput.
